Hi, I've got my eGroupWare setup to add IMAP mailboxes when eGroupWare users = are added - this is what you need. This way, you do not need to use any other application to create the IMAP mailboxes. I'm assuming that you're using Cyrus IMAP server - I think this will only work with a Cyrus server. Go to "Admin -> EmailAdmin -> Site Configuration" and select the profile you've created for your IMAP/SMTP server. On the "Global" tab, ensure that the "profile access rights" are set so t= hat ANY APPLICATION can access the profile. On the "POP3/IMAP" tab, tick the "enable Cyrus IMAP server administration= " box. Fill in the Cyrus admin username and password. If you have the Sieve filter, fill in those details too. Save the profile. Now when you create a new user in eGroupWare ("Admin -> User Accounts -> Add"), the system will also create a new IMAP mailbox on the server. If y= ou then log in as that user, you should be able to go to FelaMiMail and see = the new INBOX (probably empty!), or at least you shoudn't get any errors/warnings when you "Manage folders". I use Webmin as a general admin tool for the server. It has nothing to do with eGroupWare, but I can use it to double-check that the mailbox has be= en created, or create the mailbox manually. I can also then set a quota on t= he mailbox. |
