Category: felamimail Group: 1.2 final, no more RC1-8 please !!! Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: The Hwyman (hwyman) Assigned to: Lars Kneschke (lkneschke) Summary: Incorrect FeLaMiMail Quota Display Initial Comment: I'm having a problem with the quota display. Our email quota limit is set to 100M (102400000 bytes) in Postfix (our MTA). The quota display in FeLaMiMail is showing the quota limit to be 97M. I know Postfix starts bouncing emails when the 100M limit is reached, so I was concerned there might be a problem with our Courier-IMAP server. I used telnet to login to the IMAP server using my account and issued the GETQUOTAROOT command. The server responded with the following: QUOTA "ROOT" (STORAGE 48688 100000) The first number is the current size of the mailbox (in Kb) and the second is the quota limit (represented by number of units of 1024 octets as required by RFC2087). FeLaMiMail displays 47M / 97M. Obviously the current size of the mailbox is also wrong in FeLaMiMail. I suspect what is happening is that Felamimail is treating the "quota" (the second number that is returned by the GETQUOTAROOT) as a size instead of a quantity. In my case, it is reporting a quantity of 100000 units of 1024 octets. 100000 * 1024 = 102400000. It looks like both the current size and quota are being divided by 1024 to calculate the current number of megs that are displayed by the quota display. Only the current size needs to be divided by 1024. The quota has to be divided by 1000. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=554338&aid=1556612&group_id=78745 |
