This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.1.0' of 'The XSLT C library for GNOME' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/libxslt/ The changes in this release are as follows: This release fixes a number of small bugs and uses the new interfaces from libxml2-2.6.x for faster and cleaner processing. Project description: Libxslt is a C library for GNOME which allows developers to work with XSLT. It is based on libxml for XML parsing, tree manipulation, and XPath support. Also included is 'xsltproc', a command line XSLT processor. The library is written in plain C, making as few assumptions as possible, and sticking closely to ANSI C/POSIX for easy embedding. It should work on Linux, Unix, and Windows. Though not designed primarily with performances in mind, libxslt seems to be a relatively fast processor. It also include full support for the EXSLT set of extension functions as well as some common extensions present in other XSLT engines. If you would like to cancel subscription to releases of this project, login to freshmeat.net and choose 'home' from the personal menubar at the top of the page. You'll be presented with a list of projects you're subscribed to in the right column, which you may cancel by highlighting the project in question and clicking the 'delete' button. Sincerely, freshmeat.net |

This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.6.2' of 'Libxml' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/libxml/ The changes in this release are as follows: This release adds a few improvements, including XInclude support for xmlReader, and a new batch of bugfixes, including ones for the problems which were blocking DocBook XSLT processing. Project description: Libxml is the XML C library developed for the Gnome project. The library code is portable (to Linux, Unix, Windows, embedded systems, etc.) and modular; most of the extensions can be compiled out. Libxml implements a number of existing standards related to markup languages, including the XML standard, Namespaces in XML, XML Base, Relax NG, RFC 2396, XPath, XPointer, HTML4, XInclude, SGML Catalogs, and XML Catalogs. In most cases, libxml tries to implement the specifications in a relatively strict way. To some extent, it provides support for the following specifications, but doesn't claim to implement them: DOM, FTP client, HTTP client, and SAX2. Support for W3C XML Schemas is in progress. It includes xmllint, a command line XML validator. This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.1.0' of 'Linux-VServer' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/vserver/ The changes in this release are as follows: The new syscall switch was added to simplify and organize syscall management. Project description: Linux-VServer allows you to create virtual private servers and security contexts which operate like a normal Linux server, but allow many independent servers to be run simultaneously in one box at full speed. All services, such as ssh, mail, Web, and databases, can be started on such a VPS, without modification, just like on any real server. Each virtual server has its own user account database and root password and doesn't interfere with other virtual servers. If you would like to cancel subscription to releases of this project, login to freshmeat.net and choose 'home' from the personal menubar at the top of the page. You'll be presented with a list of projects you're subscribed to in the right column, which you may cancel by highlighting the project in question and clicking the 'delete' button.
