#1305 Start button in Pokemon Plat isn't working
So I've started playing Pokemon Platinum and everything is running smoothly, no lag,etc. but when I press enter the start menu doesn't pop up, any solutions for this? I've try changing, and pressing both of the enter buttons but it still doesn't work.

what do you mean status. please be more detailed!

the start button isn't supposed to do anything in pokemon platinum. use another button. consult your manual for suggestions, or just guess until you find it. theres only 8 buttons on the nds.
I need to press start to open my pokemon party, but the start button doesn't work?
to fix ^^ problem on black, config you keys to do a y
and press y

That depend on black or platinium it's not the button start for it .. but x or y . choose one of them ..

the detailed version of what they are saying is the to open the menu you should be using x or y for some reason the rom will let you use start for half tghe game and then it will suddenly stop working you have to assign a key to x or y depending on which game and or rom you are using hope this helps

so for me i tried both X and Y for my start button, but neither worked.. im still at the begining of the game where i just nicknamed my starter... i'm still unable to access the pause menu.. is it because of how early in the game i am or is it something else? I am playing a Pokemon Black Randomizer on DeSmuME 0.9.11 x64
so try going further in the game. there should be about 1000000 videos for reference on youtube

the "start" menu is assigned to the S key on the keyboard

i try to press it and it wont let me but then i double click it then press open it just shuts down. can anyone help me plz i been waiting so long to play this game

what about pokemon emerald
im playing that and it worked for the first time i did it but then it glitched and it stopped working
Pokemon emerald is not an NDS game
same for pokemon gaia

Who told you to press the start button? Why dont you try pressing some other buttons?
