Confirmed. This happens to me as well after adding davmail to the Gnome startup list. Art: this worked for getting the pid: ps -ef | grep davmail Brent -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [Davmail-users] tray icon missing in Ubuntu 9.10 Date: Mon, 22 Feb 2010 10:21:05 -0500 From: Art Alexion <ar...@RH...> To: dav...@li... <dav...@li...> This is gnome flavor of Ubuntu. When I first log in, davmail starts. The tool tip confirming this appears on the left edge of the screen, but the icon seems to be loading to the left of the visible gnome panel. When I launch it manually, it appears in the panel tray where one would expect it. I tried to manually kill it, but can't identify the running process. -- Art Alexion Resources for Human Development, Inc. 215-951-0300 x3075 4700 Wissahickon Ave. ar...@rh...
