http://lists.apple.com/archives/fed-talk/2008/Feb/msg00052.html explains why Apple has moved away from PKCS11, why using tokend is so much more awesome and easier on OSX, etc. Right now, the only way I know of to use DAVmail on OSX is with CACkey... I don't believe any other CAC enabler supplies PKCS11, including OpenSC and PKard.

Well, DavMail relies on Java PKCS11 support, as soon as Oracle Java supports tokend on OSX, I will have a look at it.
