No

When I accept or decline an invitation in Outlook or Web Access, the invitation will be deleted unless it has an attachment (other than the invite).

With DavMail, that doesn't seem to happen. Is this by design?

3.5.0-745, OS X 10.6 + iCal, Exchange 2003.

Thanks for your great software btw!

Yes, this is by design, mainly because I didn't want to delete any important attachment. I didn't notice the Outlook behaviour about attachments, may this would be the right thing to do.
Or maybe I should let the user choose by a DavMail setting to delete on accept.

Is it possible to detect if an invite has attachments apart from the invite itself? I think the Outlook/OWA behaviour makes a lot of sense...

From my point of view the Outlook/OWA behavior, deleting invitation mails, are not funny in shared folders (Role-based mailboxes).
And that OWA only let you access attachements via calendar view after you have accepted the initation , is also very uncool.

I wish that normal mail search using i.e. Thunderbird could find zne invitation mail (and event attachements) even after the event has been accepted or passed by. Only the user or a user defined filter should delete mails.

Sure, the first step would be download message content into a MimeMessage object and check attachment list.

=> keep this as an RFE
