Has anyone else had a problem with Norton marking DavMail as a virus and deleting it? It identifies the current version, davmail-4.7.0-2408, as including the threat WS.Reputation. I am assuming that this version is clean and that I can work around Norton to install it.
According to your log file Norton did not detect any virus, it just assumes that an exe used by less than 100 other Norton users is a potential threat.
This means that any new release of any software distributed as an executable installer will be automatically deleted by Norton !
Anyway you can use the -noinstall package instead.

I just had Norton ignore it. That seems to have worked.
