Setup doesn't create link for 64bit version (davmail64.exe)

DavMail won't run with the JRE 7 u9 64bit-package installed on a Windows 7 x64. I reckon that whatever component expects the JRE, only looks for the 32bit version. I'll see whether I can dig up any more details, but the page describing the Windows setup clearly misses this rather important point :)

Actually, it turns out I am wrong. You took care of that, but the installer doesn't take care of creating the respective links. Let me know if you need any help with that and I'll spend a little bit of my time to fix this up as a token of gratitude for providing this software. You have a davmail64.exe and davmail64.ini and that _is_ the solution to the problem. So when I looked at the SVN and found these, I also checked the program folder and found them there.

You are right, most users still install 32 bits Java even on 64 bits Windows.
Thus I haven't yet created a 64 bits installer, I would suggest using the -noinstall package instead.
In a future version I will probably have to create this new 64 bits installer.
This is still a problem. The focus of my issue is that the 32 bit version, when run on my 64 bit system, grinds to a halt as I have a 64 bit version of Java installed. I get a "Cannot find an appropriate version of Java on your system" error, meaning that the 32 bit version will NOT run on my machine (Win 7, 64 bit). What I then need to do is run the registry editor and manually edit the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" string from davmail.exe to "davmail64.exe" so that my 64 bit system boots and autoruns davmail64. I have no other problems with this excellent program other than this. Thanks.
With recent DavMail windows installer, you can choose to not run DavMail automatically => this will not create the Run key to launch davmail.exe.
You can then create your own scheduled task to launch davmail64.exe
As I understand it, we are no longer supposed to use the Run key anyway...
We now have a separate package for 64 bits Windows.
