application built on top of the osbl (it's our third one).

In order to meet the respective needs, we have implemented some new 
features, that might be of interest to you:

o switched from ognl to mvel (faster and has more features)
o conform: synthetic properties (mvel expressions)
o generic object list: better join query support
o conform: improved relation handling
o refactored format factory

o The autocompletion component XSuggest has been rewritten based on YUI. 
Now its use can be recommended.

o An SSplitBar component has been implemented. It's not finished yet. 
But as soon as it's finished, I will integrate it for the sidebars.

Hi all

First of all I'm very enthusiastic about this software! Therefore I 
(successfully) compiled the source code and tried to execute some programs. 
Now I have a question about concern-modeler: I manage to add processes, 
process steps, conditions, etc. that are added in the tree on the left of 
the screen. But I can't seem to figure out how to draw a process. I don't 
see any button/menu item/option to add elements to a drawing canvas, 
although this should be possible.
Do I have to load a particular library to do so? Or something else?

for every transaction (by means of the loader) .. thus con:cern is 
clusterable.

This is the reason, why your transient properties are lost.

allowed to run it from inside a running transaction. commit or suspend your
transaction, before calling process.

[concern-users] Transient values in subjects, Controller exception

Hello,

1) Is is possible to store transient values in subjects?

   I added a non persistant attribute to a subject. In an action I tried
   to change the value of this attribute. The call to setValue
   succeeded, but when it returned the value wasn't changed. Looks like
   it was set to an proxy?

2) I want to process a subject immediately from within a session bean
   (JBoss). So I called subject.process(subjectId). The call throws a
   ControllerException: transaction not allowed. 
   subject.announceSubject(...) at same place works fine.
   How should I start immediate processing of a subject from within a
   session bean?

Hi Manfred,

I didn't deploy con:cern on jboss 3.x for a long time. Though it should work
basically.

The processes and worklist and hibernate session factory are all deployed as
mbeans and the controller's jboss-service.xml descriptors contain dependency
tags:

  jboss.jca:name=JBassDefaultDS,service=DataSourceBinding

as far as I remember, jboss changed the naming scheme for the mbeans 
between 3.x
and 4. try to put the name of the controller's hibernate session factory into
the dependency tags instead of the datasource's.
