What error message do you see?  Feel free to email me your
codestriker.conf file so I can see what email settings you are using.

Looks like you had a space after 'svn:'.  The string needs to be
exactly the same as what is represent in other parts of the
codestriker.conf file.

Hello,

Though I set "mapping of repository URLs to names" seems it's not actually working. Still I'm able to see full repository URL instead of the mapped name. For example in 'Topic properties' full URL is visible with user id and password. I'm using codestriker 1.9.9 version. The following mapping is done in codestriker.conf file.

$ repository_name_map =
{

      'svn: http://0inhdfile01.pwav.net:8080/svn/INDIA/trunk/PW_EMS/NWM3.3.0/NetWayManager3.3.3.0.0/Source;siruvanti;August2009#' => 'NWV 3.3.3.0.0 Source'

i found 401 error related to "The request header did not contain the
necessary authentication codes, and the client is denied access." but how to
solve it iam not able to understand. my neon version is 0.25.5 which have
primary bug fixes related to this type of errors. Iam totally stuck here.

Thanks for your quick reply. I tried with Cgi scripts. I modified apache
configuration as

and in conf.d, subversion/conf i added required configuration lines for
repositories and can be accessible through net.

so i don't understand why it is giving problem.

I haven't tried this, but in theory, setting $mailhost in
codestriker.conf to be something like the following should work:

$mailhost = 'smtp.gmail.com:587';

It can be done.. there are two points of integration.

One is parsing the diff format starteam generates.  We'd need a bunch
of sample diff files.  Some with files being added/removed would be
good.

Then there is actual integration with the starteam repository.
Usually, we just need to know the command for pulling out a specific
file for a specific revision.

Once we have that info - its usually not very hard to write the
appropriate code.

lib/Codestriker/Http/UrlBuilder sets url_prefix from $query->url(),
which is meant to include the port number.

In the above example, you would set the repository path to be:

<repo-path>/top/branches/branchA

then when you do the diff, it will be the missing part.  So basically,
for each branch you need to review, and trunk, you need a separate
repository object.

I have to do this at work, and it works fine in practice.  We use this
and a mixture of post-commit scripts as well.

I think it might have been available at some point, but basically '-u'
is all you need now - it seems to include added/removed files by
default.  I'll update the text.

Sadly.. the subversion people decided to create diffs in this silly
format.  I mentioned this to them years ago, but they basically
ignored it.  At least CVS did the right thing here.

What this means, is you need to run your diff commands from the
"top-level" of your project, and make sure the repository you select
matches it, so that together, the paths become the full path of the
file in the subversion repository.

Its a bit of a pain, but it works.  Its partially for this reason a
lot of people use Subversion in post-commit review mode, as you don't
have to worry about this.

'pass-through' option I suppose.

full RCS path in its diff and I'm wondering how Codestriker can figure out
how to show the diff via ViewVc when it does not have a complete path to
