This patch is unacceptable in my opinion.
The course of action should be either this patch is ignored or either the feature is removed as a whole.

Yes. And the option is not useful to most of the people. It just clutters the UI. If we think that there is a chance for this info popup to be annoying then we should just remove it. Not add an option.
