Hi - Are the local dev and the image repository screens both sdb1? It might say so on the live docs - step-by- step example. Is it correct when I look at the gzip files inside the image they read sda2? Are you doing this because the sda2 maps to my pc's pci express ssd 2nd partition rather than worrying about a naming issue?. I think it may means to pick my 2nd partition of my hard drive, and to not worry about the label sda2? It probably would cost extra programming time or something. I went to import the file ending in gpg and it won't import. gpg --import CHECKSUMS.TXT.gpg gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found. gpg: Total number processed: 0 Please let me know if I did something wrong. Clonezilla supports the disk device name like /dev/nvme0n1, so maybe it's due to the Linux kernel from 20220620-jammy does not support your hardware. My issue is with the p2p "disk-2-mdisks" which is failing to restore a workable system when using "from-device". I was short on time and I did not try the other methods for "-mdst". If you have any idea of what I can try when I am back from holidays in september, to solve this issue.... Hi all- I recently had the pleasure of trying to figure out why my file system isn't mounted to something like /de/sda1 etc. I found out it is because of NVME. If I had know I would have got a computer with SATA SSD instead. I just wanted to report that [alternative stable-20220620-jammy](https://clonezilla.org/downloads/download.php?branch=alternative) didn't provide something similar to /dev/sda so I could select from source. I can't use AHCI or something like that either in my UEFI. It detected the partions but not the equivalent of /dev/sda for NVME. I hope you all know what this means because it is kinf of a foreign gizmo to me. I joined this list because I think clonezilla would be awesome for making backups, and I eagerly await a version where I can try a backup with NVME. Hello, I am trying to use the bittorrent method to clone identical windows11 Dell AIO 7460 for a classroom. I have successfully used saveparts/restoreparts for a single machine restoration over NFSv3. Hi Gigi, Not sure if the Linux kernel does not support your hardware, or it's due to your hardware requires proprietary firmware. I tested 3.0.2-6 and it works on my old laptop. However, it does not work with my new laptop. I will do more tests to find why.
