BUTT not streaming an audio file to zeno.fm Icecast server.
Icecast and Shoutcast broadcasting client

Hi there! I am trying to get BUTT to broadcast audio from a .mp3 file to my icecast server. I have got it to connect, and I hear my stream go silent for a second, however, my AutoDJ continues. This only happens when there is no audio stream connected and playing audio. Any ideas on how to fix this? I am hosting the BUTT client on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ that does not have a microphone connected. Attached is a Video on what I do.

PS: Yes, I know I did not properly format it. :(
Hello Ben, thanks for sharing the video with me.
butt was orignally created for streaming live audio from an audio device.
You can not stream a mp3 file or any other audio file with butt. The field where you have put the mp3 file is for updating the song name from a text file.
However, some people use tools like Soundflower on MacOS or Virtual Audio Cable / Voicemeeter on Windows to create virtual audio devices and connect the output from an audio player to butt.
I don't know how to do it on Linux. Probably you might get it working with Jack but I do not have any experience with it.
Best,
Daniel
