I'm not sure about the delete options for tasks. I read the Help, but I still
cannot make out what the difference is between "Done (Delete)" and "Delete"
that are shown when clicking on an appointment with the right button of the
mouse.
If an appointment is changed to Done (Delete) will it not be totally deleted
and removed from the database just as it would if I chose the plain Delete
option?

The difference is what is done when a Todo repeats. If you have a repeating
todo (for example every Monday), the delete option will delete all
occurrences. Done (Delete) will mark the current occurrence as done and the
next occurrence will now appear on the todo list. If the last occurrence is
marked as done, the todo is then deleted from the calendar.
Done (No Delete) works the same as Done (Delete), except that when the last
occurrence is done, the todo is left on the calendar so that you have a record
of what you have done, but it is no longer a todo.

Thank you. I fully understand the difference now.
By the way, I apologize for asking so many questions.
