You have to ask Matthew!=20 I've hardly seen him for 6 weeks as I was off ill for 4 weeks and he's = been away virtually all the time I've been back. Hopefully when he comes back = he can do it. Can this be linked to an external clock reference? NOTE * The Questionnaire tool can now be analysed so the anonymity statement would need to be changed. If the new functionality is switched on! NOTE * The Drop Box file name presentation still has "%20" rather than a space - can this be changed? * Notify Address? - will this be populated with GroupWise mail addresses automatically and an option to change to your own mail or better Add an additional mail? FUNCTION * The MCQ should have the same 'add new question' facility as in Questionnaire * The Short Answer Resource should be changed to reflect the add question in the Questionnaire tool * The Drop Box Assessment Criteria - can this be changed to match the new add question in the questionnaire resource? ERRORS * The questionnaire tool using the itemize function I get an IE Script Error - Line 9 Char 1 object expected but OK when I click though this screen * IMS Package I get the following error org/apache/xml/serializer/OutputPropertiesFactory For a Bodington package and for a Blackboard Package - I have not tried this with a WebCT package yet. * The Drop Box - there seems to be a problem with listing correct user names in the students entry space - sysadmin is listed as '2'???(This might just be finger trouble and me)! GENERAL * How is the notify tool going to be introduced? * Can the Advanced Search be part of the Left Hand Utility Frame? * Skills Audit tool evokes the Logbook (as I would expect) but it has the same Icon as Logbook (confusing)! * Why is the search tool not available to 'normal users' - its Sys Admin at the moment? * The Web DOC Resource - I think the "Introduction Field" should be changed to "add link file name" - or the text to the RHS needs to be changed to highlight the fact that this box can be used to host the 'index.htm...' or filename to be opened. * the copy/Bring resource should have the current http:// removed as this is normally going to be a cut and paste job rather than type. * If you change the Screen size in Logbook all the buttons get messed up! |

It means there's no internet connection. That version of the IdP validates all XML so the parser needs a connection - it doesn't have the schema cached. The latest release on sourceforge has validation disabled (controlled by a props file) so it's faster and you won't see that error. I'm getting a problem with the Guanxi SSO. The servlet doesn't start. Looking in catalina.out there is the following: ERROR - Allocate exception for servlet SSO org.guanxi.samuel.exception.ParserPoolException: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: src-resolve: Cannot resolve the name 'xml:lang' to a(n) 'attribute declaration' component Can someone suggest how to fix this - it's urgent as I'm right in the middle of an upgrade of our main Bodington setup. From what I remember the kinds of things it was mainly concerned with, was making it easy to translate instruction manuals and doing things like marking up bits of text, such as this-is-a-joke-don't-translate-it-literally-but-put-in-your-own-culturally-relevant-but-similar one. It was also concered with i18n-ing element names (but not attribute names for the time being) - this is akin to a Java programmer being able to have localized keywords, e.g. if you were French having 'pour' loops instead of 'for'! I think it makes sense to use if you've chosen XML as the basic nature of your documents. However, if your underlying format are strings in databases and templates (JSPs!) probably less so(?) There's some sort of W3C meeting here this week re International Tag Set - see http://www.w3.org/International/its/ Is this a route we should be following for Bodington? Hi Peter, sorry to hassle you but we really need to sort this out soonish... we have people migrating resources who are threatening to set fire to Sean which is no bad thing but his office is very close to mine. So if you can have a quick look it would be appreciated!
