Following the bod marketing meeting we needed a wish list - which should show some activity in terms of completed items, work in progress, devolved nature etc which I've put in [brackets]. Suggestion was also to put up topics that students may take onboard as project work, hence splitting things into small chunks. Attached is a draft incorporating various emails on the topic. If there is more to go in either I can add - or else it can go in after the dev meeting this week. We need to get something onto Bodington.org before Wednesday night though. Oxford and Leeds had a very productive meeting yesterday where we mapped out a strategy for 'marketing' bodington. If there are any list members out there who would be prepared to help then please get in touch. We'd be look for things like news articles, case studies, teacher blogs (focusing on Bodington usage), reviewed journal articles, on-line articles, publicising the wonderfulness of Bodington to relevant email lists, speaking about usage at events and so on and so forth. We'd be interested to hear of people using bodington in Schools and FE colleges. Comparisons with WebCT / BB etc - what does bod do better than the major players? We'd also be interested if anybody is using (or intending to use) Bodington in conjunction with Moodle. We will be forming a 'marketing focus group' quite soon and would welcome members from institutions other than the 'big four'. Any takers? Adam marshall -- Adam Marshall (ada...@ou...)
