One of my favourite features in Bluefish is the bookmarks functionality. I'm not aware of any other editor that has such a useful implementation.

To make Bluefish's bookmarks functionality even better, it will be superb if the bookmark highlighted in the sidebar reflects the cursor position within the document. For example, if there are 5 bookmarks in a file, and the cursor is positioned anywhere between bookmark 2 and bookmark 3, bookmark 2 will be highlighted in the sidebar. This will be incredibly useful and really set Bluefish apart from other editors.

Hi, I've added this function in revision 9038. Please test if you know how to compile from source.

Thanks so much Olivier. Are there good build instructions (Linux) available with a list of prerequisites?

Yes, that looks good. Thank you. I'll compile, test, and report back. Busy week ahead, but it's on my list!
