Thanks. I'm not having success with this. I tried the exact regex you provided, but it had no effect. So I tried an incredibly simple regex (literally just GUID) to simply remove the string 'GUID', but it didn't have any effect either. I even tried .* but that didn't have any effect either. I tried several other valid regex's but none of them had any effect. I also experimented with enclosing the regex in forward-slashes, but that didn't help.

This repo's Create Ticket functionality to report bugs seems to be currently disabled, thus posting in this section for a hopeful resolution. There is a bug either in CustomizeToolbar v5.3 or Notepad++ v8.9.6.4 (64-bit) - or potentially both. The symptom is CustomizeToolbar's settings getting reset (and thus the toolbar returning to its default state). Because this rarely occurs (in my use, less often than once per month) it has been impossible to completely isolate. But I've determined a sequence...

FR: Allow toggling the diplay of item GUIDs in log

Unfortunately, still broken in 26.04. And actually the situation is even worse than I initially thought. If any item's header is specified to be changed, and the user performs an action such as "Check all queued", WCM results become unreliable unless it is terminated and then relaunched. The reason for this is that once a header is changed for a processed item, that header will now be changed for all other items processed during the same WCM session.
