#21 Recent Files not updated

Bluefish 2.2.10
gtk 2.24.8 (runtime gtk 2.24.8)
glib 2.28.8 (runtime 2.28.8)
with libenchant... yes
with libenchant >= 1.4... yes
with libgucharmap... no
with libgucharmap_2... yes
with python... yes
OS: Windows 10 Home
PC with RAM: 8 GB

Many recent files do not appear in Files>Recent files panel.
The problem occurs everytime.

if you open and then close a file, does it appear in the menu?
if you then close bluefish and start it again, is it still there?

b.t.w. projects have their own recent files. Could it be that you opened a file in a project, and you expect it to see in a window of a different project or a window without project?
