Robert: mod-script-pipe building should now be working with this commit: https://github.com/audacity/audacity/commit/9cb593fe548789903142606d0a778b1338166425 Interestingly the MSB8012 'warning' may or may not lead to a linker error, depending on what files you have in the conflicting directories. On my machine it didn't lead to an error. David's Link problem must be something different, as it is with Audacity itself. uncompress() is in zlib. On my machine I am seeing a wxzlib (and a wxzlibd for debug) in C:\wxWidgets-3.1.1\lib\vc_dll which were compiled when wxWidgets was compiled, and wxzlib should be brought in by this line in AudacityApp.cpp # pragma comment(lib, "wxzlib" D) On 4/10/2018 7:18 PM, Robert Hänggi wrote: > In addition to David's log for the release build: > mod-script-pipe relies on a debug library. > > 1>------ Build started: Project: mod-script-pipe, Configuration: > Release Win32 ------ > 1>C:\Program Files > (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\V120\Microsoft.CppBuild.targets(1193,5): > warning MSB8012: > TargetPath(C:\audacity\win\Projects\mod-script-pipe\Release\mod-script-pipe.dll) > does not match the Linker's OutputFile property value > (C:\audacity\win\Release\modules\mod-script-pipe.dll).
