Re: [Audacity-quality] How to set Waveform (dB) the default view

I'd like to suggest that:

Preferences > Tracks > Display

has the items:

* Update display while playing
* Automatically fit tracks vertically zoomed
* Default View Mode
* Waveform Scale
* Spectrogram Scale


("scale" being moved here from the "Waveforms" and "Spectrograms" settings).

The reason being so as to group the basic "Display" choices together
in one place. This will also make the scale settings easier to find
for users that are familiar with previous versions of Audacity, and
will remove the need for the sparse "Waveforms" sub-group.


I'd also like to reiterate that
"spectrogram type = frequency"
is much more user friendly that
"spectrogram algorithm = STFT"
