Another thing I have mentioned that nobody else yet responded to, is that Spectrograms preferences (and view settings) might also be split up into a few simpler pages. I do strongly believe that the four Spectrogram view types and the Pitch view should be collapsed into one menu item, and the choice of algorithm and scale type moved to a View Settings... dialog, instead of needing a drop-down menu item for every combination of algorithm and scale type and spectral selection. Having done that, it seemed to make sense that the choice of scale type for Waveform ought to be treated similarly. There is a kind of symmetry there.
