Current error message: ---------------------------------- Failed to open URI "file:/usr/local/share/audacity/help/manual/quick_help.html". Error when getting information for file '/usr/local/share/audacity/help/manual/quick_help.html': No such file or directory. ---------------------------------- Perhaps it would be better to say something like: ---------------------------------- Help files not found at: "file:/usr/local/share/audacity/help/manual/quick_help.html". The Audacity manual is not installed, To view the manual online, click <HERE> ---------------------------------- Also, the "How to get help" screen says: These are our support methods: "Quick Help (should be installed locally, <Internet version if it isn't>)" but that is not true for Linux or the Zip version. Perhaps better to say something like: These are our support methods: Quick Help (if manual is installed, <Internet version if it isn't>) Steve |
