This turned out to be much more difficult than it appeared. Anyway, it's now working with not many changes to the code. I updated to the latest version of Audacity (12425) and then created the patch. Latest patch attached. ...John ________________________________ From: Steve the Fiddle <ste...@gm...> To: Thales <tha...@ya...>; Audacity-Devel list <aud...@li...> Sent: Monday, July 8, 2013 3:34 PM Subject: Re: [Audacity-devel] Pan Envelope Editing? Found another minor problem. 1) Pan a mono track part way to one side so that it shows as "virtual stereo". 2) Grab the dividing line between "left" and "right" (virtual) channels and drag slowly up and down. When dragged beyond a certain point, the vertical ruler is resized and the numbers on the ruler overflow onto the waveform. Compare this behaviour with a "real" stereo track, where I think the behaviour is correct.
