Thanks for the reply Vaughan, I was hoping there was some "magic formula" :=) I've looked up bug 227 "Noise Removal: Sensitivity,Attack/Decay sliders don't respond finely enough/evenly to arrow keys" and I've managed to get the sliders working with increments of 0.5, which is probably enough for the Bass&Treble effect, though it would be nice to get a 0.1dB increment. I'll play around with it some more and see if I can make some headway. It's a shame there isn't a floating point slider rather than converting everything to and from integers.
