I've always had problems building Audacity with MacPorts installed (and have dealt with a few support requests from people having the same problem) and so build pkg-config and cmake by hand. There are binaries available though. I installed Xcode 4 first then Xcode 3 (without the Unix development tools) and it works fine. Only thing extra I had to do was :- export PATH=/Developer/usr/bin/: $PATH before building wxMac so that gcc-4.0 et all were in my path. On the wxMac front, the download from the wiki page did not get me the expected shell script, I got a web page instead after decompression (and renaming). Apart from that it's really nice. Once again thanks. Paul. |
