Both machines use a Gnome fallback, not the Unity shell, but if that is relevant, a lot of Ubuntu users don't use Unity. The "shaking" affects dragging a stereo track on its own with no other tracks present. So it's quite serious IMO. I think it would warrant release noting it online, rather than putting it in README. Also we don't know if this may also be a problem on Mac. Unless someone chimes in that this is a fluke, I would be inclined to revert this until we can investigate it fully.
