=B7=D4=E0=D0=D2=E1=E2=D2=E3=D9=E2=D5, , There's one big issue with music editors: for a long time it was hard to = obtain authorized locales of audio/midi editors around here, so many a man used - well - not quite licensed versions. Some attempts to translate, say, Cakewalk for Windows were undertaken, but they sometimes render application unusable and thus - useless, and besides those 'localized' programs are looking disgusting. By all this I mean, that it may require to make UI looking like this: [Effects] -> [Amplify (Usileniye)] -> [Fade out (Ugasaniye)] -> [Fade in (Narastaniye)] For some of musicians it would be easier to handle with English tech term those look usual to them, than with Russian ones, those have no _short_ corresponding words. For instance, the usual term Fade In can be translated in a number of ways: Narastaniye Narastaniye zvuka Postepennoye narastaniye zvuka etc. The common designations - such as [file] or [help] are okay to be translated, while tech terms translated with no English counterpart may distract users (not necessary, however). Documentations must be translated of course. =20 ____ Yuri Ilyin =C1 =E3=D2=D0=D6=D5=DD=D8=D5=DC, =CE=E0=D8=D9 =B8=DB=EC=D8=DD, =E0=D5=D4=D0=DA=E2=DE=E0 =DD=DE=D2=DE=E1=E2=D5=D9 =D8=DD=E2=D5=E0=DD=D5=E2= -=D8=D7=D4=D0=DD=D8=EF "=BA=DE=DC=DF=EC=EE=DB=D5=DD=E2=D0" =B8=B4 "=BA=DE=DC=DF=EC=EE=E2=D5=E0=E0=D0" |www.compulenta.ru|il...@co...|ICQ# 151221542 |
