Amen! I'm glad you came to that conclusion, too.

Does that mean you agree with my proposed policy that "No bug shall be
morphed (renamed, reprioritized, platform changed) into a completely
different bug"? Doing so amounts to abusing the system, and losing its
historical accuracy.

Even it it was a P1, it lasted less than a day, so should not have been
in bugzilla, especially morphed from an actual user-encountered bug
rather than entered as a new bug linked to the old one.
