Do ya think it's really worth making that much of a change to get rid of a couple of warnings? Warnings that only developers and packagers would see? Even if users build Audacity themselves, they typically will not be regenerating configure and if they do, they're probably a bit more advanced and can choose to ignore the warning. And recursive help really isn't needed in this situation since the "best" config options have already been selected for the local libraries. If the builder is advanced enough to know they want special options, then they can just run the specific libraries configure script directly to get the supported options. Leland |
