I added to bugzilla a patch to fix p2<http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147>- Metadata in imported files can cause the .aup to store unhandled characters. http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147 It works on a few cases am unsure if this is the correct way to go about including header files from lib-src/expat (which contain a table of characters that shouldn't be put in raw form or even escaped-encoded into xml at the penalty of expat bailing.) Since expat is used for decoding our project files, I would guess that its required for audacity to build, but what will the location be for the shared builds/weird configs? Currently the patch is including files from XMLWriter.cpp by using #include "../../lib-src/expat/*". I've gotten decent at breaking linux builds so I thought to ask first. Also if someone tries it out note that this only fixes the creation of project files, so trying to open old ones that already have the unhandled characters will still fail. Michael |
