We could list there VST effects that do now work in 1.3.8 and subsequent *releases*, but did not in previous versions, but they would have to be marked as such. For the point I think you were making, better IMO to use: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=11534 so users can list VSTi's that aren't correctly ignored plus VST effects that fail and/or have subsequently been fixed in CVS. For those writing to feedback@, I also give Leland's address so user can report misbehaving VST's directly. Gale |
