[Audacity-translation] What to translate and segmentation of strings

Hello again,

Working on translating the website, I had some concerns as to how the
strings prepared for the translators to translate are segmented, which I
put on the discussion page:
http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Talk:Editing_audacity.sourceforge.net These concerns also holds for some of the help texts in the application itself, but are most blatant at the website. I would very much appreciate everybody's input on the question. I am not sure if it is better to keep any discussion on the wiki, or if this mailing list is a better place.

Short short summary for those who do not wish to read the wiki page:
Some strings are too long and contain too many html-tags which makes
them very hard to translate, on the other hand, some strings are only
fragments of a sentence, making it hard to see the context.
