The button's state was no longer clear if linking was on/not. The reason I haven't fixed that menu item is because I was planning on removing it when I got the button working fully, since it seems like the button is way easier to use. Would that be a problem for anyone? Am I missing the point, or why should *any* generate effect overwrite > when linkage is off, but insert when linkage is on? Put another way, if I > want to noise out one second of one of my tracks (leaving the length > the same), why should I have to delink to do that? I misunderstood the comment on the GSoC Alphas page. It should be overwriting, and I'll fix that and the bug Richard found on Monday since I'm out of the house for the day. Mark |
