Both GSM-WAV and MP4 suffer from the same bug: produced file plays only 
in mplayer and the like, but not in MPC (and other DirectShow-based 
players) or foobar2000.
mplayer doesn't reports files as broken or buggy. Maybe they aren't 
compilant enough? Audacity uses default level of compilance when 
encoding audio...i'll try to change it to 'strict'.
