Thanks for the clarification on audacity-nyquist vs. nyquist wrt keeping samples in memory, and I apologize for misinterpreting your (Edgar's) statements. Something sounds very wrong here -- I wonder if Audacity has always behaved this way or if a bug snuck into Audacity after Dominic's original port? There's no good reason Audacity should behave this way, but I can think of some subtle implementation issues that may be causing problems. I thought PLUCK had an amplitude limit of 1, but maybe not. I can look at this too. But I'm behind on my plans to fix a few things in Nyquist v3, so I'll focus there first. -Roger |
