Does that look like a solution to > you too? I don't think that this is the best solution for vi users. If you're moving the cursor and making selections using the keyboard, then you soon end up pressing an letter key when there is no label at the cursor postion. For example, with one audio track, you create a label track, and then set out to select a time range. You press spacebar to start, then p to pause (let's you hear that you've stopped at the right place), then [ to start the selection. But the p has created a label. Possible long term soluntions for vi users: - a simpler keystroke to create a label, for example a single letter rather than ctrl + b. I guess you still probably won't like that! - an extra preference David. |
