Could you give a specific brief example? Currently Audacity Nyquist cannot write to a file, but this will probably change in the soon-to-be-released Audacity 1.3.4. You can create a .lsp file of your own and put it in the Nyquist folder. It does need to use LISP or Nyquist code. Then, to load the file (eg., myfile.lsp), the code in your plug-in would be (load 'myfile) If you want to work (read the file) one line at a time, the code's different: (setf stream (open 'myfile.lsp :direction :input)) ; and to read one line at a time: (read-line stream) [code to manipulate/use data] ; then close the stream (close stream) Will wait for your specific example.
