I don't know, either working with individual samples nor with C.

I can't see, word images will help. However, you may be interested in the
plug-in I worked out for a guitarist on the Audacity list, Jimi Photon. I
don't play guitar myself though. clipper4.ny , Clipper with 4 band EQ in
the effects menu (version 4 that I was working out for Jimi), is attached.
Hope that's useful somehow.
David
dude, if ya wanna sixties style fuzz, you can get it with this
plugin...anything from adding "Glass" or "warmth" to full on square
wave almost fuzzface sounds are possible with David's plug.
that said, i'll go back to lurking, cuz i am but an egg with this
stuff and prefer to hang out, read and slowly gain understanding.
but...Dave?
he's looking for a square wave clipper with a STRONG second harmonic overtone...
i'd suggest using some kinda nyquist prompt to shift the octave up of
the source BEFORE fuzzing it up with the clipper!!!
then roll off most of the midrange and boost both highs and lows...you
can test it on the guitar riff i sent you... if ya hear a horrible
raspy signal with a pronounced octave up that seems like the octave
gets STRONGER the higher the pitch goes, ....
well ,....send it to me and call it an octavia!!!
LOL...
perhaps a simple on/off of the midrange would do rather than the usual
sliders...
i'm not sure of the exact frequency to cut, but i'll dick around at
the studio tonight and try and find a good center frequency for the
effect....
BTW, thanks to ALL of ya'll for making such groovy plugs, especially
David who has coded me some freekin' AMAZING sounding stuff!!!
peace,
pinkster...
