Subject: [Audacity-users] Modifying Audacity and GPL Hi, I'm planning to make a program that includes some audio recording functionality. Since Audacity is open source and provides this functionality already, I was wondering if it's possible to just compile it into a DLL (my program would be windows only) and invoke the recording functions programmatically. Would this be ok? Or would I have to release my the source of the DLL under the GPL as well? Or the source of my entire program? Also, I'm not sure if this is the proper list to be asking this; if not I apologize and feel free to tell me the proper forum. Thanks, Roy ____________________________________________________________________________________ Sick sense of humor? Visit Yahoo!
