hey all,
It maybe that I'll be paid to integrate midi into audacity in some form. Iam
waiting on the specs.

Gale can you point me to what are the user requests for midi (is it in the
wiki or something)?

Can someone who is able, assign the midi stuff to me and pass on this patch
(I cant find the actual patch on the patch tracker)?

Incidentally before hearing about this patch I came across wxMidi and
integrated it into audacity along with portmidi and porttime, so that one
can play on a virtual keyboard and record it in audacity...in the spirit of
the tone generation stuff.... :)

The wish list so far for midi is:

1. Importing midi to a wave track, faster than real time midi performance.
2. editing the displayed midi track and play back...
3. ....
