AFAIK the main problem was dynamic linking to the gettext library, which isn't installed by default (the cause of the crash in other languages). There is also the matter of not having put the .htb file in the dmg, so the help doesn't work, as Gale mentioned. So in both cases build changes not code changes per se. Is there a case for fixing the help problem for intel mac users as well by releasing a 1.2.6b for Intel Mac build with the help file included? The different numbering seems to cause confusion to a number of users, and ends up with people running the PPC build through rosetta, and then wondering why the MP3 export doesn't work (which implies the rest does, to my surprise).
