I'm using the same versions as you and the dropped file imports just fine for me. The filename I'm dropping is: 01 Test =C1.wav Which has both spaces and a special character. I've even tried trademark symbols and just oddball characters. Here's a screenshot of a file after I dropped it on the the main window and started a record (for the heck of it): http://www.homerow.net/audacity/dragdrop.png Check out the title bar. Is that the kind of special characters that you'r= e using? Leland |
