Leland,
this was it.
I just added the mAbort = false; line at the very beginning of the method
body and then I could compile a working audacity.exe from the CVS HEAD files
as per today. No more stops in the batch processing. :-)
I just wonder how I can put my patch back into the CVS codebase?

Put this line at the start of BatchProcessDialog::BatchProcessDialog in
BatchProcessDialog.cpp:
mAbort = false;
And I was right...it was me. :-(
