My "fingerprints" are probably also on this "always results in mono"
problem .... Batch processing builds on "CleanSpeech" which has some
short term expediencies (aimed at preparing low bit rate mono speech
with a simplified user interface) ... which are only incompletely
generalized.

The whole issue of "chain of effects scripting" is under discussion
.... your thoughts and input are certainly welcome.
