Bug 111 says: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=111 "When an Audacity project is opened by double-clicking the AUP file, Audacity displays the project's short filename (e.g. "TESTPR~1.AUP" instead of "Test Project.aup"). If the project is then saved again, its "projname" attribute will no longer match the name of the data folder, making the file unusable (but easily recovered with a text editor). This problem does not occur when opening project files using the Open command in the File menu." I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong, but I can't seem to reproduce this bug. I'm using Micros~1 Windows 98SE. :) I created a bunch of projects with short names ("Test.aup"), longer names ("LongProjectName.aup"), longer names with punctuation ("Long Project Name.aup") and ridiculous ("Oh I Wish I Were An Oscar Meyer Weiner.aup"). I had no problems double-clicking on any of these, saving them, and opening them again. Can anyone reproduce this? I'd appreciate it if somebody could take a look at it on Windows XP. Any other issues that should hold up releasing version 1.2.0? - Dominic |
