Is there a way to change the samplerate of the current project?
I would also be interested in knowing what happens when one records
at 48000 Hz sample rate to 44100 Hz project (or otherway):
are the original 48000 Hz recordings preserved/archived?

I can imagine a situation where people work now for 44100 Hz output
format but later may decide to remix for 48000 Hz output format.
It should be automatic.
