That idea just cropped up here too. Daniel James mentioned colour blindness, and this could be the remedy. As Dave said, making advanced stuff text-config hackable could be all people need here to add new colour themes. Example themes : 'blink black&white' for the static cursor 'grey' for moving cursor while playing 'red' for moving cursor whilte recording 'black non-blinking' for the static cursor 'XOR' for moving cursor while playing 'white' for moving cursor whilte recording In XML this could be : <cursor theme=standard> <cursor_static blink color1="#000000" color2="#FFFFFF" /> <cursor_play color1="#AAAAAA" /> <cursor_record color1="#FF4040" /> </cursor> <cursor theme=colorblind> <cursor_static color1="#000000" /> <cursor_play xor /> <cursor_record color1="#FFFFFF"/> </cursor> What do you think ?
