The new gain controls go from -36 dB to +36 dB, which translates to multiplicative factors of (roughly) 1/64 ... 64x. Maybe if that's not enough, the Amplify effect could actually change the samples, but not otherwise? Anyway, 140% is no problem, that's only +3 dB. - Dominic > Dave > > >>Other neat fixes we can accomplish with these gain controls: if >>we import an MP3 and the maximum value is > 1.0, we can easily >>adjust the gain to correct for it, now. >> >>- Dominic >> >> >> >>------------------------------------------------------- >>This SF.NET email is sponsored by: >>SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! >>http://www.vasoftware.com >>_______________________________________________ >>Audacity-devel mailing list >>Aud...@li... >>https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/audacity-devel > > |
